1. About Privahive
Privahive ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered privacy policy generator operated by Alexander Koch, Auf dem Loh 7, 57392 Schmallenberg, Germany. By using Privahive, you agree to these terms.
2. The service
Privahive generates privacy policy documents based on the information you provide. The generated policies are created by an AI language model (Anthropic Claude) and are intended as a starting point — not as a substitute for legal advice from a qualified attorney.
The generated privacy policy is not legal advice. We make no warranty that any generated policy is complete, accurate, legally sufficient, or compliant with the specific laws applicable to your situation. You use the generated policy at your own risk.
3. Plans and pricing
Free plan — $0
Generate one privacy policy and copy it as plain text. Free policies are stored indefinitely. The free plan is limited to one policy per email address.
One-Time plan — $9 (one-time payment)
Export your policy as HTML, Markdown, and plain text. Regenerate your policy unlimited times. Access is tied to your email address; we send you a link after purchase.
Hosted plan — $9/month (recurring subscription)
Your policy is hosted at a permanent URL on privahive.io. The policy is automatically updated when relevant privacy laws change. Your policy link stays the same — you embed it once and we keep it current. Access is tied to your email address.
4. Payments and refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe. All prices are in US dollars.
One-Time plan: A single charge of $9. No refunds after the policy has been generated and the export formats have been made available, as this constitutes immediate delivery of digital goods.
Hosted plan: Billed monthly. You may cancel at any time; your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds for the current billing period after cancellation. To cancel, contact alex@privahive.io.
5. Access to your policy
Your generated policy is accessible via a unique URL (e.g. privahive.io/result/[id]). For free users, the URL is also saved in your browser's local storage. For paid users, we email you the link after purchase.
If you lose access to your policy link, contact us at alex@privahive.io with your email address and we will resend it.
6. Your responsibilities
- —You are responsible for providing accurate information about your data practices in the generator form.
- —You are responsible for reviewing the generated policy and ensuring it accurately reflects your actual practices before publishing it.
- —You are responsible for consulting a qualified attorney if your situation requires specific legal advice.
- —You must not use Privahive to generate policies for illegal activities.
7. Intellectual property
The generated privacy policy text is yours to use freely — publish it on your website, copy it, modify it. You own the output.
The Privahive brand, website, and software remain our intellectual property.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Privahive and its operators shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of a generated privacy policy, including but not limited to regulatory fines, legal costs, or claims from third parties.
Privahive is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by German law. The place of jurisdiction is Schmallenberg, Germany, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Privahive after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
